We seek an Engineer – Prototyping to join our team under our R&D department. Reporting back to our manager, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams in meeting prototype sample build schedules for our projects. You will be responsible to create manufacturing specifications for new products and support production. You will specifically be responsible for: 

  • Participate in project meetings and work with cross-functional teams in prototyping activities for projects
  • Meet prototype samples build schedule for projects
  • Ensure proper documentation by creating and maintaining manufacturing specifications for new products
  • Support production and ensure good IPL yield
  • Work in new process development
  • Work in manual line manufacturing environment, ideally in the R&D department
  • Assembly process transfer to production

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will preferably have an electronics/mechanical/mechatronics background with an interest to work in a manufacturing line under pilot production. S/He will have experience building prototype product samples for new projects and have good knowledge in the manual line manufacturing environment. 

  • Bachelor in Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or any relevant certifications
  • Demonstrates strong communication and coordination skills
