As a key member of the ANZ Finance team based in Port Melbourne, the Financial Accountant – integration will lead the integration activities from a finance perspective for the Australian and New Zealand business. Aligning processes and controls, establishment of reporting requirements to meet local and global requirements and the execution of the integration plan on time while enabling business to continue as “usual”.

You will provide transactional support to the business, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information to the local business and Global Finance team monthly.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the financial accountant will provide support day to day to the Chief Financial Officer, Finance Manager, the wider finance team and ANZ business including the provision of timely advice, information, reports, and any other data required by management to make informed decisions.

To be considered you’ll be CA/CPA qualified, with experience working in mid-size organisation. You’ll know how important it is for a company of this size to be flexible, collaborative and hands on. You’ll enjoy and have prior experience in integrating, adapting and streamlining finance processes and controls, as well as a solid background in management reporting. Exposure in managing business acquisitions and or the involvement in establishing a new business would be a key advantage.
