We are now hiring 3 new Mechanical Engineers to bolster our R&D Industrialize team.
Design Engineer for new full BTE / ITE Hearing Aid projects:
- Design, develop and validate of BTE / ITE Hearing Aids
- Implement new technologies or concepts into BTE / ITE Hearing Aid design
- Utilize various tools of specialization (ProEngineer CREO/ Design For Manufacturing/ Failure Mode Effects Analysis/ Tolerance Analysis/ Simulation etc) to design, validate and improve existing designs
- Create and maintain BOM
Design Engineer for new Forefront projects:
- Lead Forefront project to ensure enhancement of technology for future hearing aid generations
- Perform forefront ideas/concepts with suppliers and/or Institutions
- Analyze competitor's product to learn good practices/design
Cost Savings:
- Perform cost saving activities in redesign of high runner products/processes and purchases-to-
make
Product Maintenance and support:
- Performs technical analysis related to process/design problems
- Supervise and follow up on support activates (Trial runs, FA approval, etc) for timely processing of ECRs/ECOs
Mentoring and Coaching (For Snr):
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of a given field with respect to Mechanical Design
- Supervise and coach junior team members/Engineers with respect to subject matter.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Professional experience as (product) developer desirable
- Knowledge in plastic, rubber, PCB & sheet metal design desirable
- Understanding of plastic injection , tooling and Product Development Cycles will be advantageous
- Basic experience in mold construction, tolerance analysis and series production preferable
- Experience in CAD development (CREO / ProE / Wildfire) preferred
- Agile for Design & Development Documentation preferred
Recent University graduates will also be considered at entry level engineer.
