Technician

What you will do
- Perform routine maintenance of machines and equipment
- Perform maintenance of tools, jigs and fixture and manage requisition of duplicate tools and scrap of obsolete tools
- Assist in machine installation and trial runs of new machines and equipment
- Provide support in troubleshooting and repair of machines and equipment
- Support validation processes by preparing samples, conducting trial runs and collecting and analyzing data
- Update work instructions and document records for maintenance and production activities
- Co-ordinate with suppliers and internal department for maintenance and calibration tasks
- Conduct internal on-the-job training for production operatives
- Participate in audits conducted by internal and external bodies to ensure compliance with standards
- Administration work and other tasks as assigned
What you bring
Experience
- Nitec/Diploma in mechanical technology/mechanical or manufacturing engineering
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Prior troubleshooting and maintenance experiences are preferred
- Familiar with Microsoft office

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Good organizational skill
