Staff Engineer, Pilot Production

We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Pilot Production team and play a key role in driving the success of our product development by ensuring a smooth transition from prototype to production. Reporting to the Manager of Pilot Production, you will play a critical role in identifying and resolving design, material, and process issues, contributing to the successful launch of innovative products.
What you will do
- Lead and coordinate prototyping activities to ensure project milestones are met on time, including the early architecture and concept phases of development.
- Facilitate the smooth transfer of manual assembly processes into operations, ensuring high yield in the Initial Production Lot.
- Coordinate development testing requirements, including the creation of commissioning/programming jigs, to ensure products meet specifications.
- Draft, develop, review, and release manufacturing specifications (Mfg. spec) on time, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Conduct forefront investigations, focusing on process optimization and efficiency improvements.
What you bring
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with expertise in pilot production preferred.
- Knowledge in Design for Manufacturing / Assembly (DFM/DFA) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) required.
- Experience in Pilot Run conducting, yield and testing result improvement, New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing specifications / work instructions creation is highly desirable.

- Self-driven individual with strong time management, project management, and communication skills (both spoken and written).
