Intern - Hardware Development (Accessories)

As the Hardware Development (Accessories) intern, you will work on product development, verify subsystems like USB and wireless charging, and collaborate with firmware engineers. Plus, you'll gain hands-on experience with MCU programming and ensure compliance with medical-grade documentation.
What you will do
- Develop and implement innovative solutions in charging technology, battery, and low power management architecture for hearing aid accessories, including chargers, transmitters, and remote controls.
- Conduct rechargeable product development and verification of subsystems such as USB and wireless battery charging.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to facilitate hardware/firmware integration.
- Perform hands-on tasks including MCU programming, PCBA rework, soldering, and ensure compliance with documentation standards for medical-grade products.
What you bring
Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and troubleshoot complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSO) and Spectrum Analyzers (SA) is required.
- Prior experience in battery charging technologies, low power management design, wireless power transfer design (e.g., Qi standard), and True Wireless Stereo (TWS) solutions and applications is highly desirable.
