Senior Engineer, Electro-Acoustic Design

We are looking for an Engineer for BTE/RIC Hearing Aid Development to lead the evaluation, optimization, and integration of new technologies into advanced hearing solutions. The role includes driving product maintenance, process improvement, and engineering change initiatives. You will also mentor junior engineers and ensure technical excellence and innovation in product performance.
What you will do
- Lead evaluation, testing, and
quality verification of complex BTE/RIC hearing aid concepts using
advanced tools and measurement setups
- Implement and integrate new
technologies and design concepts to enhance electrical and acoustic
performance
- Conduct technical analyses to
resolve design and process issues, ensuring optimal product reliability
- Participate as a permanent
member of the Engineering Change Board and oversee activities such as
trial runs and FA approvals for timely ECO processing
- Drive innovation, process
improvement, and efficiency initiatives within R&D and
cross-functional teams
- Mentor and coach junior engineers while collaborating with internal and external R&D teams, suppliers, and institutions.
What you bring
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or a related technical field
- 3-4 years of professional
experience in hearing aid development or similar electro-acoustic product
design
- Strong technical skills in
evaluation, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical and acoustic
performance
- Hands-on experience with
design verification tools, measurement systems, and engineering software
- Proven ability to manage
product maintenance activities, including ECO processes and
cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers and work effectively with global R&D teams and external partners.
