We are looking for a strong, analytical Mechanical Engineer with excellent problem-solving skills to front field-return evaluations, drive root-cause analysis, and partner cross-functionally to implement design and process improvements. The role focuses on analyzing return trends, executing corrective actions, contributing to design reviews and risk assessments, while ensuring clear reporting to continuously improve and maintain product quality.

What you will do

• Spearhead thorough mechanical evaluations and quality verification of field-returned hearing aids and accessories

• Work cross-functionally with domain experts and stakeholders to investigate field return complaints, perform root-cause analysis, and drive design improvements to reduce return rates and non-conformance costs across regions

• Develop and analyze field return statistics to identify trends and recurring failure modes in returns, while providing actionable insights and recommendations into process or product improvements.

Maintenance

• Implement corrective actions and engineering changes while collaborating with domain teams, generating Lesson Learned and updating Design Guides to strengthen future designs

• Actively contribute to design reviews and risk assessments, while mitigating potential quality issues and minimizing future customer complaints.

Report and Documentation

• Track, report and maintain top quality complaints and statistics through detailed investigation records, while preparing and presenting clear mitigation strategies.

What you bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline

3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following:

• Product design, including the design of plastic, metal, or rubber components

• Investigating, analyzing, and resolving product complaints and field returns

• Working with intercultural and global cross-functional teams

• Hands-on experience applying Tolerance Analysis, DFMEA, Statistical Tool, and Design of Experiments.
