Intern - Design Quality

As a Design Quality Intern, you will support the Quality Assurance function within R&D, contributing to design quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance activities. You will assist the Quality Representative in supporting design and relabeling projects, with a particular focus on MDD to MDR conversion initiatives. This role offers valuable exposure to medical device quality systems, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices in a product development environment.
What you will do
Support document control activities for R&D relabeling projects, including document reviews, approvals, and compliance with templates, approval matrices, and project document plans
Review project documentation to ensure alignment with quality system and regulatory requirements
Support product risk management activities, including vigilance-related tasks and project risk documentation
Assist in MDD (Medical Device Directive) to MDR (Medical Device Regulation) conversion projects, supporting regulatory and quality transition activities
Provide support for ad-hoc quality requests to enable the Quality Representative to focus on core product projects.
What you bring
Undergraduate or fresh graduate with a degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline
Interest in Quality Assurance, Design Quality, and medical device regulations
Basic knowledge of or exposure to ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and medical device risk management (coursework or training is an advantage)
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills, with a quality-oriented mindset
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
