Intern - Application Analyst

As an Application Analyst Intern, you will support the Cross-Functional Applications IT team in developing, maintaining, and improving internal applications. You will contribute to application development, process automation, and system support to ensure accurate, reliable, and secure data that supports operations, compliance, and decision-making. This role offers hands-on exposure to enterprise applications, automation tools, and data-driven IT solutions in a collaborative environment.
What you will do
Assist in application development and configuration (e.g. SharePoint, Power Apps, workflow tools), including testing, debugging, and deployment
Support process automation initiatives using tools such as Power Automate and RPA, and help identify opportunities to streamline manual workflows
Provide first-level application support, including incident logging, basic troubleshooting, and user access management
Support reporting and analytics, including building dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Excel) and assisting in data collection and validation to track system usage, performance, and KPIs.
Prepare and maintain documentation, including process flows, system configurations, and user guides
Ensure adherence to IT governance, security, and compliance requirements, and support audit-related activities.
What you bring
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field
Basic understanding of application and web development, testing, reporting, data quality, and IT security principles to support reliable and compliant systems (knowledge of SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, C#, and SQL is an advantage)
Ability to follow processes, troubleshoot issues, and identify improvements in applications and workflows
Strong attention to detail and communication skills to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency
Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt.
