Lead Engineer, Test(Automation)

We are looking for a passionate and quality-driven Lead Automation Test Engineer to join our engineering team. The role requires strong expertise in modern automation frameworks, manual testing, BDD practices, and agile delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, driving innovation, mentoring teams, and enabling scalable testing solutions across modern applications and hardware-integrated systems.
What you will do
Design and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript, Gherkin, and BDD.
Perform manual, exploratory, integration, and hardware testing activities.
Work with Playwright and WebDriverIO for end-to-end test automation.
Monitor CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with developers for defect analysis and root cause identification.
Mentor team members and contribute to innovation, POCs, and AI adoption.
What you bring
10+ years of experience in Software Development and Testing.
3+ years of experience as a Lead Engineer or Senior QA Lead.
Strong expertise in Playwright, WebDriverIO, TypeScript, and BDD/Gherkin.
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Application Insights.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and scaled agile frameworks.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of Microservices, Clean Architecture, and event-driven systems.
Exposure to Hardware Integration Testing and device-level validation.
Experience using AI tools/solutions to improve engineering and testing efficiency is a plus.
