Senior Audiologist / Senior Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Audiologist / Senior Engineer to join our R&D Device Optimization (DO) team, covering both the front-end optimization and back-end verification of our hearing aid products. We welcome applications from audiologists with clinical experience as well as acoustic or acoustic engineers with strong critical listening skills. You will work closely with a small, cross-functional team that combines audiological and engineering knowledge, supporting multiple overlapping hardware projects. This role is well suited to someone who is calm, adaptable, and a good problem solver, and who is keen to contribute to product quality and on-time delivery.
What you will do
Optimize hearing aid features and fitting software functions across product generations based on new chip audiological capabilities
Collaborate with other R&D teams to ensure the audiological benefit and sound quality of new products
Perform objective and subjective verification of new products and accessories, including critical listening assessments
Ideate, develop and maintain optimization and verification tools and test setups, for example using MATLAB and Python
Maintain the AUD Lab and AUD Test area, including equipment such as UPV, KEMAR and speakers, to support optimization and verification work
Test the hearing instrument database, conduct checks against test specifications, and analyze and write change requests for identified bugs.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Audiologist or in Acoustic Engineer or any relevant field
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in audiology or acoustic engineering, with an interest in audio and acoustics
Good listening skills, with the ability to judge and critically assess sound quality
Good problem-solving skills, with a calm and adaptable approach to a varied workload
Good command of English
Programming or signal processing experience, for example in MATLAB, is advantageous.
