Intern - Smart Lean

As a Smart Lean Intern, you will support engineers in conducting production shopfloor studies focused on Smart Lean initiatives. You will contribute to process improvement efforts by analyzing internal data, applying industry best practices, and supporting continuous improvement activities within a manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on exposure to Smart Lean methodologies and operational excellence in medical device manufacturing.
What you will do
Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
Analyze manufacturing data to identify improvement opportunities
Participate in Kaizen workshops and process improvement projects
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
Develop dashboards, reports, and project presentations
Assist in implementing Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives
Document best practices and standard work
What you bring
Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field
Interest in manufacturing, process improvement, or Lean methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Proactive, hands-on, and willing to learn in a shopfloor environment.
