Senior Systems Engineer

This role drives global digital manufacturing transformation by architecting and sustaining end‑to‑end software and analytics solutions, with a forward‑looking focus on scaling automation, embedding AI into operations, and continuously improving efficiency, quality, and compliance across worldwide sites.
What you will do
Lead digital transformation projects in global manufacturing, from requirements gathering through deployment, while also sustaining existing solutions for daily operations.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and IT to digitize production workflows, improve process efficiency, and enhance user experience.
Build and maintain full‑stack web applications, data pipelines, and dashboards (Power BI, Grafana), integrating with MES, ERP, and SCADA systems.
Manage the full software lifecycle (URS, UAT, validation, hypercare, CI/CD) and ensure compliance with quality, cybersecurity, and architecture standards.
Apply statistical analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities, and evaluate practical AI use cases to boost operational efficiency.
What you bring
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Strong full‑stack development experience with proven end‑to‑end delivery of web‑based applications.
Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, SQL, Apache Spark, and JavaScript, plus hands‑on experience with Power BI, Grafana, Azure DevOps, and Databricks.
Personality
Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills, with working knowledge of statistics, basic network/security concepts, and AI literacy to apply machine learning in business contexts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to bridge technical and non‑technical teams.
Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional manufacturing environment and scale solutions across multiple sites.
