Quality Assurance Manager - Product Risk Management

The Product Risk Manager ensures product risks are effectively identified, assessed, controlled, and monitored throughout the product lifecycle.
The role provides risk management leadership across hardware, software, and accessories, supporting R&D projects across WSA.
You will work closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and other stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable products.
What you will do
Lead product risk management activities across the product lifecycle, including risk assessments covering hardware, software, usability, cybersecurity, connectivity, and performance.
Establish and maintain risk management plans, strategies, and methodologies.
Facilitate risk workshops and multidisciplinary risk reviews.
Integrate risk management into design, development, change management, V&V, and release activities.
Support R&D projects across multi-sites.
Act as the Product Risk Management Subject Matter Expert and drive consistent risk practices.
What you bring
Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Electronics, Quality Management, or related field.
8+ years of experience in product development, quality, risk management, systems engineering, or regulatory affairs.
Experience supporting both hardware and software development projects.
Knowledge of medical device development processes and quality systems.
Strong understanding of risk assessment, risk analysis, and risk mitigation.
Knowledge or experience in Regulatory Affairs and/or Cybersecurity is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a cross-functional, global environment.
