Governance and Compliance Specialist - R&D

WSA is building a data governance and compliance team to increase alignment among program areas, ensuring consistency in data and related management procedures.
What you will do
- Support Compliance and Regulatory Processes: Assist in tracking compliance audit findings, maintaining and updating compliance policies, and ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions in accordance with regulations.
- Coordinate Documentation and Training Initiatives: Support compliance training programs, manage policy documentation, and ensure effective communication of compliance policies across R&D.
- Manage and Digitalize Documentation Systems: Oversee the setup, digitalization, and management of documentation systems, ensuring records are organized, up-to-date, and compliant. Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and suppliers to meet all documentation and compliance needs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor Documentation Progress and KPIs: Track and report on project documentation progress, ensuring timely delivery, accurate version control, and adherence to project specifications. Lead quarterly compliance reviews.
What you bring
Experience
- Bachelors in Engineering or Computer discipline that aligns with the creation and adherence of technical development standards
- 2 years+ experience over operational data and/or enterprise data management or data governance preferred
- Good understanding of data governance principles, data quality management concepts, and regulatory requirements
- Experience with data governance tooling and technologies, data profiling, data cleansing, and data remediation techniques.

- Ability to communicate effectively (listening, presenting, and questioning)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, and effectively engage team members at multiple organizational levels
- Skilled in planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
