Sound & Audiology (SIG) Intern

As a Sound & Audiology Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the SIG SG team with their ongoing projects. You’ll be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the improvement of methods used to evaluate and test hearing aid performance. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and progress of these projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time.
What you will do
- Support the Hearing Aid HW and fitting SW project development tasks
- Verify and test audiological features for HW and SW projects, including test automation and script updates.
- Review and summarize differences for configurations of Microphone modes (and other features)
- Capture screenshots of the Microphone/Sound Setting page, showing labels, tooltips, and supported programs for different fitting configurations (Binaural, Monaural, Cros, BiCros) and device types (BTE, RIC, IF, Customs)
- Save parsets logs for configurations, and summarize and visualize differences across price points, platforms, and device types.
- Record hearing aid features across different platform
- Set up input stimulus and recording conditions to capture feature performance (e.g., NFC mic mode, SIN listening situation).
- Document recording methods and create a library of reference recordings for feature performance analysis.
- Reorganize, improve existing technical documentation, tools and analyze study result
- Check and arrange the release/ DR3 Hearing Aids / Accessories in cupboard across the HA list and arrange AUD internal library
What you bring
Experience
- Undergraduate in Electronics Engineering/ Physics
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as C#, OOP, MATLAB, and Python, along with strong analytical skills.
- Interest in Hearing Aids and Passion to learn new skills.
