As a Group Accounting Intern, you will support the team in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, contributing to smooth group-level consolidation and audit preparation. Your role will help ease operational bottlenecks during the year-end closing process, support compliance with financial reporting standards, and enhance the accuracy and quality of data within financial systems. This internship offers valuable exposure to corporate accounting processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you will do

• Assist with month-end closing activities by collecting data from various markets, tracking reporting submissions, and following up as needed to ensure timely completion
• Support accurate data uploads to group reporting systems and help verify that submissions comply with IFRS standards and internal policies
• Assist with year-end audit preparation by compiling documentation, responding to audit requests, and supporting data accuracy and completeness in disclosures
• Support the review of quarterly financial submissions from country entities by conducting preliminary checks for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with reporting standards
  
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and enhance audit readiness through detailed analysis of financial disclosures.

What you bring

• Undergraduate in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Possess a basic understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is an advantage, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic work environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
