Operations Engineer for Mobile Apps

We are looking for a Software Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our test lab infrastructure, supporting mobile and desktop device operations, and ensuring the smooth execution of automated testing environments. Your work will directly contribute to the quality and reliability of our hearing aid products and services.
What you will do
- Perform daily lab and device management, including OS updates, provisioning, and troubleshooting of mobile devices and test agents (Windows and Mac).
- Conduct soldering and customization of hearing aids for specific test configurations or repairs.
- Manage firmware updates and ensure devices are test-ready.
- Operate and monitor tests in RF shielded environments, ensuring test integrity for hearing aids and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
- Provide initial diagnosis of test failures and escalate complex issues.
- Assist with infrastructure setup, including rack provisioning, cabling, and ensuring network/power stability.
- Monitor software pipelines and test stages, supporting 24/7 automated testing environments.
- Participate in remote debugging sessions with global teams.
- Maintain detailed documentation of lab procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
What you bring
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in software operations, lab management, or a related technical support role.
- Hands-on experience with mobile device management, OS updates, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac system administration, including machine replacement and agent setup.
- Experience monitoring software pipelines and identifying operational issues.
- Exposure to RF shielded box testing and Bluetooth device handling is a plus.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) for lab troubleshooting.
