We are seeking to hire Software Test Automation Lead Engineer who uses business, technical and functional knowledge to execute the tests and managing defects for medical software products along with contributing to testing strategies using QA best practices and methodologies.

What you will do

Test Automation Framework Design, Execution, and Documentation

• Design and develop automation frameworks from scratch tailored to project needs
• Enhance and maintain existing frameworks using industry best practices
• Implement and execute automated test scripts for new and existing features.
• Monitor test execution, analyze results, and generate detailed reports
• Define test goals, procedures, and pass/fail criteria
• Create comprehensive test cases, automation scripts, and documentation for traceability.

Requirement Gathering

• Analyze project requirements, features, and functionalities to ensure clear understanding
• Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to obtain detailed requirement information
• Collect and prepare relevant test data for validation purposes
• Review requirements and provide feedback to requirement engineers for clarity and completeness
• Decompose requirements into actionable use cases and test cases for effective testing coverage.

Developing Test Cases & Test Scenarios

• Apply best practices in programming and ensure reusability in automation scripts
• Lead test automation activities proactively, guiding the team on execution and strategy
• Write detailed test cases covering positive, negative, and edge-case user scenarios
• Identify test cases suitable for automation and implement corresponding automated scripts
• Execute automated tests across multiple devices and OS versions to ensure coverage
• Stabilize and de-flake automated tests, and manage code updates via pull requests.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 7+ Years of relevant experience in Automation testing
• Extensive experience in manual and automated testing of native, hybrid, and mobile web apps on Android and iOS, including functional, UI, accessibility, localization, regression, and performance testing
• Skilled in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Python, Java, C#, and tools like PyTest, Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and Calabash
• Proficient in all phases of STLC and SDLC, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, reporting, and QA strategy implementation in Agile environments
• Experienced with CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and version control tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, Rational ClearCase), with knowledge of distributed systems and networking
• Strong communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, capable of leading tasks independently and collaborating effectively in dynamic environments.
