SEO Specialist
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to support organic search growth across WSA APAC markets.
This role demands solid expertise in all aspects of SEO, with the flexibility to operate within global healthcare marketing guidelines. While global corporate teams own the SEO infrastructure and technical SEO implementation for brand websites, this role will focus on content-driven SEO strategy, optimization recommendations, performance monitoring, and collaborating with global teams where needed. You will also have full ownership of technical SEO implementation on regional or campaign-specific external websites, which are outside global CMS governance.
An ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to evolve with AI-powered search trends and possess a strong interest in emerging platforms like Google AI Overview, Perplexity AI, and ChatGPT-based engines. This role will collaborate closely with content writers, developers, and paid media specialists to ensure search-first visibility and user-first experiences.
What you will do
- On-Page SEO.
- Advanced keyword research & search intent mapping
- Internal linking strategy planning..
- Advising writers on SEO and AEO-friendly, question-led content structure.
- Metadata optimization: titles, descriptions, headers.
- Optimizing existing content using GA4 insights (bounce rate, time on page, etc.)
- Reviewing content for search readiness (scannability, structure, keyword targeting) Off-Page SEO (Compliant with WSA's White-Hat Practices).
- Link building strategy (guest blogging, editorial outreach).
- Managing directory listings & citations for local SEO.
- Monitoring brand mentions & turning unlinked mentions into backlinks.
- Collaborating with content teams for shareable digital PR assets.
- Backlink profile audits using competitor benchmarking Technical SEO.
- Auditing websites for crawl/indexing issues (using tools like Screaming Frog).
- Managing robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and canonical tags.
What you bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO.
- Structured data/schema markup knowledge (ability to advise dev teams)
- Basic troubleshooting of crawl errors, redirects, and URL structure.
- Understanding of duplicate content issues & site hygiene AI & Future-Ready SEO
Generative & Answer Engine Optimization (GEO/AEO):
- Foundational understanding of optimizing content for AI search engines like Google SGE, Perplexity, etc. Includes prompt-based content design, conversational search UX, and structured data readiness.
AI Awareness & Learning Agility:
- Active interest in emerging tools like Operator AI, Surfer SEO, Clearscope, and how generative search alters traditional rankings.
- Willingness to collaborate with teams and evolve strategies in line with new trends.
SEO Tools & Platforms (Mandatory)
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Looker Studio / Google Data Studio
- Keyword Tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz)
- Technical Crawlers (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, etc.)

This may include links to websites you have helped optimize or improve search visibility for specific SEO projects, or ranking results achieved in previous roles.
