We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer – Manual Testing with strong experience in testing medical software products. This role focuses on ensuring high product quality through structured test design, execution, defect management, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams while applying QA best practices and methodologies.

What you will do

• Execute manual testing activities for medical software products using business, technical, and functional knowledge.

• Contribute to testing strategies by applying established QA standards, best practices, and methodologies.

• Develop, enhance, and execute test suites/scripts aligned with test phases such as system testing, regression testing, and release testing.

• Collect, analyze, and report quality metrics derived from test execution.

• Create detailed test reports supported by objective evidence.

• Log, track, and manage defects using defined project standards.

• Ensure adherence to test plans, schedules, and delivery timelines.

• Take ownership and accountability for the overall quality of deliverables.

What you bring

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manual software testing.

• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including testing methodologies, techniques, and levels.

• Experienced in Agile/Scrum environments with hands-on client coordination.

• Experience in medical product testing is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong skills in test case design, defect management, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

• Proactively took initiative to support junior team members and improve overall testing effectiveness.

Test Development, Execution & Reporting

• Proven ability to create comprehensive test cases from requirements with high coverage.

• Experience enhancing and maintaining test suites across different testing phases.

• Strong experience using test and defect management tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM, TFS, or similar.

• Ability to prepare clear, detailed test reports supported by execution evidence.

Defect Logging & Debugging

• Sound knowledge of issue investigation and troubleshooting.

• Experience logging defects per defined standards and collaborating with development teams.

• Familiarity with debugging tools such as ADB is an advantage.

Collaboration & Ownership

• Ability to communicate test plans, risks, and quality status to key stakeholders.

• Working closely with Developers, BAs, Product Owners for early testing involvement.

• Convert testing strategies into test specifications.

• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility towards product quality.

Personal Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Self‑driven with a willingness to learn domain and technology.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to have

• ISTQB Foundation level certified (CTFL) or Tester Advanced Level Test Analyst (CTAL - TA) certified.
