As a Hardware Engineer (Accessories) Intern, you will support the development and testing of charging, battery, and low-power solutions for hearing aid accessories. You will work on embedded systems, MCU programming, and hardware–firmware integration. This role offers hands-on experience in medical-grade product development within an R&D environment.

What you will do

• Develop and apply new solutions in charging technology, battery and low power management architecture for hearing aid accessories (i.e. charging cases)

• Support rechargeable product development and test, including USB and wireless battery charging

• Develop and test embedded software based on ARM Cortex-M MCUs

• Support and work with firmware engineer to understand the hardware/firmware integration

• Hands on with MCU programming, PCBA rework and soldering

• Support and understand documentation for medical grade product.

What you bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Strong interest and foundational knowledge in electronic product design, development, and testing

• Excellent analytical skills with hands-on experience using lab equipment such as DSO and SA

• Hands-on experience in battery charging systems, low-power management design, and C++/Python programming for automated test scripting is preferred.

• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
