Staff Engineer (Process Engineering)

We are seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to lead process engineering initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, driving process optimization, product transfers, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
What you will do
Define, standardize, and maintain process documentation (Work Instructions, PFMEA) in compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820
Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process and quality issues
Manage end-to-end product transfers, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, compliant execution
Apply SPC, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies to validate, control, and improve manufacturing processes
Drive yield improvement, quality enhancement, and machine OEE using statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP
Lead, coach, and mentor engineers to achieve departmental KPIs related to yield, product transfer, and operational performance.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5+ years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing
Strong hands-on experience with process optimization, yield enhancement, or quality improvement initiatives
Solid working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma analytical tools
Proven leadership capability, with experience leading or managing a team of people and collaborating across functions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong documentation discipline
Independent, proactive self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, teamwork mindset, and basic soldering skills.
