Senior Specialist, Procurement Project

We are looking for a collaborative and driven Senior Specialist to join our Global Procurement team. In this role, you will lead and manage technical procurement projects across the value chain, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cost savings and strategic outcomes. What you will do
Manage technical procurement projects, including value engineering, alternative sourcing, process improvement, and risk mitigation, from initiation to completion, on time and within budget
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery
Manage phase-in and ramp-up plans with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of procurement initiatives
Initiate value engineering ideas to identify product, part, and component improvements that drive cost efficiency and performance
Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities in design, process, and supplier landscape, and develop data-driven strategies for project execution and risk mitigation
Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing procurement projects, including CAPEX investments, for management review and decision making.
What you bring
Degree in Engineering or equivalent business studies; PMP certification or equivalent project leading experience will be an added advantage
3+ years of procurement experience in Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or related disciplines
Good experience leading technical procurement projects from initiation to delivery, covering areas such as value engineering, alternative sourcing, or risk mitigation
Familiarity with value engineering initiatives to identify cost efficiencies and performance improvements across products, parts, and components
Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex strategies and results clearly across all levels of a global organization
