IT Project Portfolio Manager (6 month contract)

As an IT Project Portfolio Manager, you will align IT project execution with business roadmaps, driving strategic initiatives. You’ll manage the global project portfolio, oversee intake and ROI analysis, and ensure consistent governance and prioritization. Responsibilities include maintaining PPM tools, delivering executive-level reporting, and tracking financials, while supporting continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement across WSA’s global operations.
What you will do
- Establish and maintain standardized portfolio and project management practices, ensuring consistent execution and communication of IT project roadmaps, health, and status

Drive continuous improvement through regular monitoring, accurate reporting, and automation of reporting processes using tools like Excel and Smartsheet
- Manage the project intake process and global IT demand pipeline, ensuring consistent prioritization, governance, and ROI-driven business case evaluation
- Lead the implementation and optimization of project and portfolio management tools, ensuring governance compliance through timely updates on KPIs, milestones, risks, and financials
- Deliver executive-level dashboards and presentations on portfolio health, project performance, and capacity planning, while tracking financials such as budget utilization, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Support IT activities for WSA’s global key accounts, ensuring effective stakeholder communication and timely resolution of issues.
What you bring
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Solid understanding of project and portfolio management methodologies, tools, and frameworks
- Certification in PMP or PRINCE2, with advanced expertise in Smartsheet
- Experience working with globally distributed teams is preferred.

- Proven leadership abilities to drive initiatives and deliver results effectively
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
