Category Lead, Indirect procurement

As a Procurement Category Lead for Indirect Materials, you will take part in developing and execute a holistic sourcing and management strategy for Indirect spend in our Singapore Global Headquarters & SEA region and will assess current and future needs, analyze market trends and potential new suppliers and opportunities to leverage changes in processes, systems and product/services, and estimating timing and level of savings capture.
This person will be responsible for around EUR 20 million of annual spend within the area of Facilities, machinery, capex, Production related (indirect) materials, HR services, office supply and the support of sites of SEA region (India included).
What you will do
Deliver category savings, scorecard metric targets and build partnerships with strategic suppliers
Identify and execute category specific savings levers to achieve cost savings targets
Monitor the implementation of sourcing strategies and contract compliance and participate in the resolution of any constraints or issues
Act as procurement point of contact for suppliers and maintain relationships with supplier senior executives
Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with R&D, Operations, Finance and all other functions involved
Collaborate internally to drive and develop key performance measures/metrics for Strategic Suppliers and monitor supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement
What you bring
Experience
Successful experience in Indirect Procurement role in a manufacturing environment
Negotiation experience of complex contracts
Change management whilst managing the interface between “day to day” and improvement projects
