Technical Lead Consultant – MES

We are hiring a Consultant – MES to support the IT implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects globally. This role partners closely with the FBP Rollout team to ensure successful execution of the FBP Roadmap. You will play a critical role in aligning with the WSA Global MES template while incorporating business-specific needs—driving operational efficiency, standardization, and compliance across manufacturing sites.
What you will do
Analyze, design, and implement MES setups in alignment with the WSA Global MES template, ensuring integration of business-specific requirements.
Collaborate with project teams and the FBP Rollout team to support the execution of the FBP Roadmap.
Provide functional and technical guidance on MES implementation and processes, including hands-on support in all project stages.
Work with key users, process owners, and stakeholders to test, document, and report MES developments.
Deliver training and provide remote/on-site support to key users, following a train-the-trainer approach.
Serve as the primary contact for assigned FBP projects and rollouts, supporting transformation efforts and resolving MES implementation challenges.
Proactively research, prototype, and propose new MES functionalities to improve efficiency and add value to manufacturing operations.
What you bring
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in MES or related manufacturing IT implementations.
Prior experience working on multi‑country project rollouts is highly desirable.
Education & Skills
University degree in Information Technologies or equivalent.
Strong functional knowledge of MES systems and manufacturing processes.
Deep expertise in MS SQL Server, databases, and application management.
Basic understanding of 3D CAD modeling tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong project management and analytical capabilities.
